About this role
Reporting to Senior Manager, Regulatory Compliance & Risk Culture, this position is responsible to help the Company in managing and mitigating regulatory risk which include risk arising from data privacy and personal conduct. Collaborate with business functions to foster a positive risk culture through effective risk and compliance awareness, engagement, advisory and preventive programs. Responsibilities: Regulatory Advisory & Risk Culture • Provide ongoing compliance advisory and support to business functions on various business initiatives, in order to ensure that the business is compliant with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). • Conduct assessments on new regulatory developments, liaise with the various business functions to ensure new regulatory requirements are properly implemented, identified gaps are closely monitored to ensure adherence to PDPA. • Provide support for enterprise‑wide risk culture initiatives and programmes to reinforce positive behaviour, accountability and risk awareness. • Assist in reporting requirements to regulators, Group, Board of Directors, senior management, and other stakeholders as required. • Any other ad hoc tasks & projects as assigned by Team Lead/Head/ExCO. Requirements: • Bachelor Degree (or degree equivalent). • At least 5 years’ relevant experience, preferably in the financial sector, with knowledge of internal controls and managing regulatory risk • Professional accreditations on data privacy will be an added advantage. • Team player • Liaison, relationship building and communication skills e.g. mediation. • Digital Analytics skills
