Accountant (Contract / up to $4.5K)

Accountant We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to support our finance operations and reporting activities. Responsibilities • Support monthly and quarterly closing activities • Reconcile balance sheet accounts • Prepare quarterly schedules for external audit • Perform balance sheet review activities • Provide support for internal audit, external audit, and SOX compliance activities • Identify areas for process improvements within core areas of responsibility Requirements • Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related discipline • Relevant experience / internship in finance, accounting, or audit support functions • Familiarity with audit requirements and SOX compliance is an advantage • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems Interested candidates may apply through the application system.
