The Role We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to support daily finance and administrative operations. You will work closely with the accounting company and be responsible for transactional bookkeeping, data entry, filing, and basic reconciliation support. Key Responsibilities Data Entry & Invoice Processing • Enter daily transactions, supplier invoices, and expense claims into the accounting system accurately and in a timely manner. • Code and sort invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers for processing. • Assist with the preparation of payment documentation for approval. Reconciliation Support • Assist with daily and weekly sales reconciliations across POS and payment platforms. • Support the preparation of bank reconciliation schedules for review by the senior finance lead. • Flag any discrepancies or missing documentation to the supervisor promptly. Filing & Record-Keeping • Maintain organised and up-to-date filing of all financial documents, invoices, receipts, and contracts. • Ensure supporting documents are complete, properly labelled, and stored in accordance with company filing standards. • Assist with preparing documents requested by auditors or external accountants. General Finance Support • Support the finance team with ad-hoc administrative tasks, including photocopying, scanning, and correspondence. • Assist with petty cash handling and basic cash control processes. • Coordinate with suppliers on invoice queries and payment follow-ups as directed. Requirements • Diploma or LCCI qualification in Accountancy, Business Administration, or a related field. • 0–2 years’ experience in an accounts or administrative support role; fresh graduates are welcome to apply. • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks) is an advantage. • Detail-oriented with good organisational habits. • Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions with minimal supervision. • Prior exposure to F&B, hospitality, or retail environments is a plus but not required.
