Admin, Brand & Café Operations InternWe're looking for a hands-on intern to support our café operations, internal systems, and brand marketing. This role is ideal for someone who is interested in cafés, food content, small business operations, and learning how an independent F&B brand grows from the inside. The intern will support both behind-the-scenes admin work and selected café shifts. Key Responsibilities1. Café Operations Support• Support 3–4 café shifts per week across front kitchen, back kitchen, and barista/service areas. • Assist with food prep, assembly, plating, packing, display setup, and restocking. • Help with opening, closing, cleaning, and daily operational checklists on shift days. • Support weekend and peak service periods when required. • Assist with product launches, preorder packing, influencer gifting, and campaign periods. • Learn basic café workflows across kitchen, service, and customer experience. 2. Social Media & Brand Support• Assist with brand's weekly/monthly social media calendar based on approved campaigns. • Shoot photo and video content for Instagram, TikTok, and stories. • Edit simple short-form videos for Reels, TikTok, and story posts. • Draft captions, hooks, story copy, and content ideas for approval. • Plan simple storyboards for product launches, promos, behind-the-scenes content, and seasonal campaigns. • Research current café, bakery, food, and lifestyle trends. • Track customer posts, tagged content, influencer mentions, and potential reposts. • Help ensure content stays aligned with Romme’s warm, cozy, and cheeky brand tone. 3. Operations & Admin Support• Support weekly staff schedules based on manpower budgets and part-timer availability provided by management. • Format and organise SOP booklets using recipes, workflows, and instructions provided by management. • Assist with menu updates, menu inserts, QR menu information, and product launch sheets. • Track packaging, labels, takeaway supplies, and restocking needs. • Help organise internal documents, supplier notes, training materials, and launch checklists. • Observe operational pain points during service and suggest possible workflow improvements. 4. Creative & Other Support• Assist with light menu brainstorming and trend research. • Help gather competitor references for products, packaging, display, and campaigns. • Contribute ideas for product names, campaign hooks, customer-facing materials, and launch concepts. • Document customer responses to new products, displays, and promotions. Requirements• Interest in cafés, food, social media, branding, or F&B operations. • Comfortable with both hands-on café shifts and admin/project work. • Organised, observant, and able to follow instructions clearly. • Basic photo/video shooting and editing skills preferred. • Able to draft simple captions, content ideas, and documents. • Comfortable working in a small business environment where tasks may vary day to day. • Weekend availability required. Working Arrangement• 3–4 café shifts per week, typically around 6 hours per shift. • Additional working hours will be allocated to admin, content, and operations support. • Weekend availability is required. • Off days will typically include Monday, when cafe is closed, and another weekday. • Total working hours will be scheduled in line with applicable Singapore employment guidelines. You will not be expected to independently manage café operations, staff, budgets, or marketing strategy. Your role is to primarily support management by preparing drafts, organising materials, assisting with execution, and contributing ideas for review.
