We are passionate about creating memorable food experiences and are now seeking a motivated and positive individual to join us as an AI / Automation Intern As an AI / Automation Intern, you will support the design, development, and implementation of AI-driven tools, automations, and internal technology solutions that improve operational efficiency and enable innovation across the business. This role focuses on applied implementation and is ideal for someone who enjoys turning ideas into working systems, prototypes, and process improvements. You will work closely with stakeholders across operations and business teams to identify opportunities, prototype solutions, and help deploy practical tools involving AI, workflow automation, data processing, and internal systems integration. Key Responsibilities • Assist in the design, development, and implementation of AI-powered tools, automations, and internal technology solutions. • • • • • • • • Support the translation of business and operational requirements into practical technical workflows and prototypes. • Build, test, and refine automations involving AI models, APIs, spreadsheets, databases, and no-code / low-code tools where relevant. • Conduct research and rapid prototyping to evaluate suitable tools, models, frameworks, and approaches for different business use cases. • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code to support internal systems and experimental projects. • Help monitor, troubleshoot, and improve the performance, reliability, and usability of implemented solutions. • Prepare clear documentation on workflows, system logic, implementation details, and operational usage to support internal adoption and continuity. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, communicate progress, and support rollout of technology initiatives. • Contribute ideas for process improvement, workflow optimisation, and practical AI use cases that can create business value. Qualifications • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field. • • • • • • Strong interest in applied AI, automation, and business process improvement. • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities and experimental projects. • Able to think critically, solve problems independently, and adapt quickly when requirements change. • Good communication skills and able to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Able to commit to a 6-month full-time internship. • This is a full work-from-office (WFO) internship. Skills and Experience Required • Basic to intermediate proficiency in Python. • • • • • Exposure to AI tools and concepts, including LLMs, prompt design, embeddings, or AI-assisted workflows. • Some experience building or prototyping tools, scripts, automations, or workflow solutions. • Familiarity with APIs, structured data, and integrating different systems or platforms. • Ability to write organised, readable, and well-documented code. • Strong willingness to learn and experiment with new tools and technologies. Nice to Have • Experience with automation platforms or orchestration tools such as n8n, Zapier, Make, or similar. • • • • • Familiarity with agent-based or LLM application frameworks such as LangChain or similar tools. • Exposure to cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS. • Familiarity with databases, Google Sheets integrations, or dashboard / reporting tools. • Experience working on internal tools, operations workflows, or business automation projects. • Familiarity with collaboration and project management tools such as Jira, Notion, or similar.
