OPTIMUM SOLUTIONS (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD is hiring for a Application Support Engineer (L2) internship — a 12-month, on-site Engineering Hardware role based in Singapore. It is an unpaid internship. It is open to university students, typically in Year 2–4. Applicants with experience in level 2 support, Troubleshooting, Problem Analysis, Investigation, and application troubleshooting are a strong fit.
About this role
Location: Changi Business Park Requirements • 4–6 years of experience in Java application support. • Provide Level 2 support for Java-based applications across production and non-production environments. • Strong knowledge of Java, JavaScript, and SQL. • Ability to understand, analyze, and troubleshoot existing application code. • Experience working in a production support environment is preferred. • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application incidents, service requests, and system issues within agreed SLAs. • Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions. • Execute SQL queries for data validation, troubleshooting, and reporting purposes. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams to resolve complex issues and ensure application stability. • Willing to learn new technologies - is a must have Good to have: • Documentation and reporting skills will be an added benefit • Familiar with GenAI prompting - good to have
