About this role
Duration: Yearly Renewable Contract (Convertible) Working Location: AMK Working Hours: Monday to Friday (830am – 6pm) Salary range: Up to $5000 (Based on experience) Job Responsibilities: • Design, configure, deploy, and maintain application systems and related infrastructure • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions • Provide Level 2/Level 3 support for application incidents, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis • Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability; implement optimizations as needed • Collaborate with software developers, vendors, and cross-functional teams for system integration and enhancements • Manage application releases, patches, upgrades, and configuration changes • Ensure system security, compliance, and data integrity standards are maintained • Develop and maintain technical documentation, system diagrams, and operating procedures • Automate routine processes and workflows to improve efficiency • Participate in system testing, including SIT/UAT, and support deployment activities • Continuously evaluate emerging technologies to recommend improvements Job Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field • Minimum 3 years of experience in application systems engineering, application support, or similar roles • Strong understanding of application architecture, system integration, and API frameworks • Hands-on experience with application servers such as Apache Tomcat, Oracle WebLogic Server, and Microsoft IIS • Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, Java, or Shell scripting • Solid experience working with databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Database, and MySQL, including writing complex queries • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, or Google Cloud Platform • Experience with DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, version control (e.g., Git), and automation tools such as Jenkins • Knowledge of ITIL processes, including incident, change, and problem management • Exposure to modern technologies such as containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture is an advantage • Familiarity with system monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk, Prometheus, and Dynatrace • Relevant certifications in cloud platforms, ITIL, or related technologies are preferred If you are interested, please submit your application here.
