Role Summary The Automation Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and executing automation test scripts using Tricentis TOSCA to ensure high-quality delivery of banking applications. The role involves working closely with testing teams, developers, and business stakeholders to support automation strategy, regression coverage, and efficient test execution in banking environments. Key Responsibilities Automation Development & Execution • Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts using Tricentis TOSCA • Execute automation test suites and analyze results • Ensure reusability and maintainability of model-based automation frameworks • Perform end-to-end automation testing across integrated banking systems • Support automation in regression and SIT/UAT cycles Test Planning & Support • Collaborate with manual testing and UAT teams to identify automation scope • Convert manual test cases into TOSCA automation scripts • Assist in test planning, estimation, and strategy for automation • Ensure proper test data setup and environment readiness Defect Management • Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA • Analyze automation failures and perform root cause analysis • Coordinate with development teams for timely defect resolution • Revalidate fixes using automated test executions Reporting & Metrics • Prepare automation execution reports and dashboards • Track automation coverage, execution status, and defect trends • Provide daily/weekly status updates to stakeholders
