Job OverviewWe are seeking a Business Analyst cum Tester to join the Business Excellence Centre of Excellence team. This role combines business analysis and testing responsibilities to ensure business solutions are aligned with operational needs, quality standards, and organizational objectives. The successful candidate will support product launches, operational improvement initiatives, regulatory projects, and system enhancement activities while acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and IT teams. Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Analysis • Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements from stakeholders • Act as a liaison between business users and IT teams to ensure requirements are accurately translated into system solutions • Identify business process gaps, improvement opportunities, and operational efficiencies • Support regulatory, operational, and system enhancement initiatives aligned with business objectives • Ensure risk, governance, and compliance standards are adhered to for all changes and implementations Testing & Quality Assurance • Design and execute end-to-end testing strategies based on business and functional requirements • Develop test scenarios, test scripts, and test plans across the application lifecycle • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), document test results, and prepare UAT status reports and scorecards • Log and track defects with clear reproduction steps, business impact analysis, and follow-up with technical teams for resolution • Monitor testing progress, risks, and issues while coordinating corrective actions with stakeholders and technical teams • Validate that delivered solutions meet operational excellence and business quality standards Stakeholder & User Support • Communicate testing outcomes, risks, and recommendations to business and project stakeholders • Prepare user guides, operational documentation, and conduct training sessions for end users • Provide system-related business support to internal stakeholders and operational teams Required Qualifications & Skills• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or related discipline • Preferably 2 years of experience in Business Analysis, UAT, or software testing; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply • Candidates with insurance operations or insurance processing experience are advantageous • Understanding of business requirement gathering and documentation processes • Exposure to UAT planning, execution, and defect management • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills • Good understanding of SDLC, testing methodologies, and operational processes • Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills • Proactive, resourceful, and detail-oriented mindset Preferred Skills• Experience in insurance domain projects or operations • Knowledge of business process improvement and operational excellence initiatives • Familiarity with project coordination and testing lifecycle activities • Exposure to regulatory and compliance-driven environments Soft Skills• Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong listening, collaboration, and consultative abilities • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively • Innovative, critical thinker with strong stakeholder engagement capabilities • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and accuracy Ankita EA License Number: 23C2060 Registration ID is R22109715 Disclaimer: The company is committed to ensuring the privacy and security of your information.
