About this role
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES • Work to achieve objectives and deliver results with a short term, operational focus. • Carry out investigation of user reported issues, formulate and agree terms of reference. • To prepare user requirement specifications for the issues that requires application development resources. • To prepare Test Plan, perform testing on the application, manage/monitor UAT to ensure timely and quality deliverables. • To manage and plan out assigned project or enhancement timeline. • Able to communicate and manage vendor & solution team to ensure a smooth delivery of project and enhancements on time. • Explain facts, practices, and policies to others within the department. • Gather user requirements, and conduct feasibility study. • Escalate problems/issues to respective team leader. • Check problems in existing systems or processes. • Raise data extraction requests in order to identify possible causes of the issues. • Work with system team to produce Issue Analysis report to users and software and to recommend solutions, where applicable. REQUIREMENT: • Minimum 4 years’ experience in Business Analyst role • Good to have insurance domain exposure/experience. • Have knowledge and experience in SDLC cycle and implementation. • Experience with Java and other internet technologies will be advantageous. • Good analytical and listening skills. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. • Possess good working attitude and self-motivated to learn. Able to get along with everyone, maintaining good relationships at all levels from senior management to junior staff. • Good organization skills with sound time management.
