About this role
• Engage with business stakeholders, operations teams, product owners, and technology teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements. • Drive requirement workshops, gap analysis, process mapping, and solution discussions. • Prepare BRD, FRD, user stories, process flows, use cases, RTM, and functional specifications. • Analyze current Trade Finance processes and recommend process optimization and automation opportunities. • Work closely with development, QA, architecture, and vendor teams during solution implementation. • Support SIT, UAT, defect triage, and production validation activities. • Coordinate with regional stakeholders across multiple countries and business units. • Ensure compliance with banking regulations, audit, and operational risk standards. • Participate in Agile / Scrum ceremonies and support delivery governance. • Support change management, training, and production rollout activities. Required Domain Expertise: Strong experience in one or more of the following Trade Finance areas: • Letter of Credit (LC) • Import & Export Documentary Trade • Bank Guarantees & Standby LC • Collections • Open Account Trade • Supply Chain Finance • Trade Loans & Financing • SWIFT Messaging (MT7xx / ISO 20022 preferred) • Trade Operations & Compliance • AML / Sanctions Screening related to Trade Finance • Transaction Banking Operations Mandatory Skills: • 10+ years of Business Analysis experience in Banking domain • Strong Trade Finance functional knowledge • Experience working with core banking / trade finance platforms • Excellent requirement gathering and stakeholder management skills • Strong documentation and analytical capabilities • Experience in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models • Good understanding of SDLC and banking project lifecycle • Experience in UAT coordination and test case preparation • Strong communication and presentation skills
