Job Description: Business Development Intern Company: Lynqra Pte. Ltd. Location: Fully Remote Commitment: Part-time or Full-time internship (flexible hours) Duration: 3–6 months (with possibility of extension or full-time conversion) Compensation: • Fixed stipend: SGD 1,000 per month • Commission: 10% on all closed deals (direct sales or channel partnerships) Role Overview We are looking for a highly self-driven Business Development Intern to join our lean AI automation startup. This is a high-agency role — you will be responsible for driving your own pipeline through outbound prospecting, cold outreach, and partnership hunting with minimal supervision. You will focus on acquiring new SME clients as well as building channel partnerships. This is not a role for someone who needs constant direction. We need someone disciplined, proactive, and results-oriented who can own outcomes from Day 1. Key Responsibilities • Independently generate and qualify leads through cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, and email campaigns • Identify and pursue potential SME clients in target industries (trading, logistics, engineering, recruitment, construction, etc.) • Research, approach, and negotiate with channel partners (agencies, consultants, accountants, etc.) • Book qualified meetings and demos for the founder • Follow up rigorously on leads and opportunities • Continuously improve outreach strategies based on results Requirements (Important) • Strong self-discipline and ability to work independently with minimal oversight • High agency — you take full ownership of your results and don’t wait for instructions • Comfortable and confident making cold calls and reaching out to business owners • Excellent communication skills (spoken and written) • Highly organized with strong follow-up habits • Self-motivated with a genuine hunter/sales mindset • Prior sales, telemarketing, or outbound experience is a strong advantage • Must have your own laptop and reliable internet connection Important: This role requires consistent daily execution (calls, messages, follow-ups). If you need heavy hand-holding or structured guidance, this is not the right position.
