About this role
This position is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding the company’s client base. The role focuses on strengthening market presence through proactive outreach, relationship management, and tailored advisory solutions. Specific Responsibilities 1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and market research 2. Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients 3. Conduct outreach via calls, emails, and meetings to generate leads 4. Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders 5. Understand client needs and propose suitable advisory solutions 6. Ensure high client satisfaction and retention through regular follow-ups 7. Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with company objectives 8. Prepare and deliver professional presentations and proposals 9. Negotiate terms and close deals. 10. Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions 11. Identify gaps and opportunities for business expansion 12. Provide insights to management for strategic decision-making 13. Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery 14. Coordinate with partners and vendors where necessary 15. Support marketing initiatives and campaigns to enhance brand visibility Technical Skills and Competencies 1. Ability to identify, qualify, and track leads using structured sales funnels 2. Competence in maintaining and updating pipelines using CRM systems 3. Understanding of customer segmentation and targeting strategies 4. Application of consultative selling and needs-based selling approaches 5. Ability to handle objections, negotiate terms, and close deals effectively 6. Preparation of quotations, proposals, and service packages 7. Proficiency in managing client data, interactions, and follow-ups using CRM tools 8. Ability to analyse client behaviour and engagement to improve retention 9. Ability to conduct competitor analysis and industry research 10. Basic analytical skills using Excel or similar tools for reporting 11. Preparation of structured business proposals tailored to client needs 12. Development of pitch decks and presentation materials 13. Effective use of presentation tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Google Slides) 14. Proficiency in professional email writing and client correspondence 15. Ability to generate sales reports (conversion rate, revenue, pipeline value) 16. Use of spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets) for forecasting and analysis 17. Monitoring and evaluating effectiveness of business development activities 18.
