Job Responsibilities You will report to the Head of Department (Humanities), and your responsibilities will include: Curriculum & Lesson Planning • Prepare comprehensive Business Management and Enterprise (BME) lesson plans, schemes of work, and instructional materials aligned with the syllabus • Design and deliver engaging, differentiated learning activities that cater to students of varying abilities, learning styles, and backgrounds Teaching & Learning • Teach Business Management and Enterprise (BME) across assigned year levels, maintaining high academic standards and an inclusive classroom environment • Employ a variety of pedagogical strategies to stimulate critical thinking, problem-solving, and real-world business application Assessment & Examination • Set, vet, and moderate examination papers in accordance with departmental and school standards • Invigilate tests and formal examinations as required • Mark assignments, coursework, and examination scripts promptly and fairly Student Progress & Reporting • Assess, monitor, and maintain accurate records of each student's academic progress • Provide timely, constructive feedback to support student growth and attainment Administration & Communication • Carry out all administrative duties associated with the Business Management and Enterprise (BME) subject area • Build and sustain positive, professional relationships with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues • Participate actively in department meetings, school events, and other ad hoc duties. Job Requirements • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Education, or a related field. • Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) from NIE will be an advantage. • At least 3 years of relevant teaching experience in Business Management in a school setting. • Familiarity with Singapore-Cambridge GCE A-Level Business Management, IBDP Business Management, and/or WACE Business Management and Enterprise syllabuses. • Proficient in the use of educational technology tools and platforms to support teaching and assessment. • Meticulous, organized, and detail-oriented. • Good interpersonal and communication skills. • A strong team player.
