Contract Role Fluency in Vietnamese and English Mandatory. MAIN FUNCTIONS Consults with organization to provide specific knowledge and expertise related to commercial or business environment. Serves as subject matter expert to develop, assess operations or current commercial strategy, guide client decisions and make recommendations. Improve organizational effectiveness via commercial practice improvement initiatives. Promote fit-for-purpose use of commercial practices, standards and tools. Support prioritization of commercial opportunities or negotiations on behalf of the business. Regular work direction needed, highly skilled and knowledgeable on commercial or business subject matter expertise. This role will be reporting to the distributor business consultant. Travel is expected 50% of the time, mostly to Vietnam. • Collaborate with distributors to achieve sustainable growth in Vietnam through discipline stewardship (sell in, sell out, inventory, timely marketing deployment, market environment) • Onboard new distributors / resellers under the guidance of distributor business consultant • Be present in the market, develop resellers networks and nurture them to be distributor ready • Identify geographical areas and/or sectors where distributors are not competitive and to develop actionable plans to address the situation • Develop deep and insightful understanding of Vietnam market in 4W segment and select B2B sectors To expand the business in Vietnam - To liaise with local distributors and end users • Market intelligence • Pricing validation (esp. 4W) through independent pricing study • Price and products (4W, sector specialists: primary metal, cement, power generation) positioning vs competitors • Understanding 4W network of POS – coverage effectiveness, numerical & weighted distribution • Understanding on how Mobil can grow sustainably to achieve 100kb volume by 2030 • Data churning • Network development • Develop a list of potential distributors/resellers for future network enhancement • Stewardship with distributors • Ensure timely submission of various scorecard: distributor, B2C, sector specialist • Ensure timely order/forecast submission by distributors (1H of M for M+1 forecast) • Market development • Collaborate in developing market offers with deep understanding of market dynamics through regular market/customer visits • Work together with sales advisors to strengthen 4W capabilities (esp. STD&S) and sector specialist competencies
