Role Summary The Commissioning Manager is responsible for the effective execution of the corporate commissioning process and the successful delivery of the FPSO to Operations, ensuring all FPSO systems are ready for start-up. This role is pivotal in bridging the transition from construction to operations, with a strong focus on commissioning readiness, and system handover. The Commissioning Manager works closely with the Project Management Team to achieve project objectives and reports as per client’s matrix organisation functionally to the Department Head Construction, Commissioning and After Sales, and operationally to the Project Manager during execution. Accountabilities · Lead and manage the onshore and offshore commissioning of complex projects (e.g. FPSO, large SPM) through to handover to Operations. · Manages the Commissioning Team. · Define the scope of commissioning activities, including mechanical completion. · Develop, issue, and maintain the Commissioning Plan for both onshore and offshore phases. · Prepare commissioning schedules and establish reporting and progress measurement systems. · Coordinate planning, quality assurance, and progress tracking for mechanical completion and commissioning activities. · Set up, populate, and maintain the Project Completion System (PCS) to support mechanical completion and commissioning execution and documentation. · Collaborate with the Construction team to ensure smooth handover from Mechanical Completion to Commissioning in line with project priorities. · Mobilise and manage vendor representatives for testing, commissioning and start-up activities in coordination with the vendor call-out coordinator. · Supervise and resolve commissioning-related issues across suppliers, packages, and Subcontractors. · Review and accept Mechanical Completion documentation including handover documentation from Construction post-Mechanical Completion. · Facilitate system handover from Project to Operations, ensuring readiness and compliance with acceptance criteria. · Coordinate reactivation activities with Operations where applicable. · Prepare Commissioning dossiers and handover documentation to support system handover to Operations. · Ensure As-Built mark-ups of key drawings (e.g. P&IDs) are completed and accurate. · Capture lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement of commissioning processes and corporate standards.
