Commodities Trade Finance Operations (1 year contract) – European Bank

An established European bank is seeking a Commodities Trade Finance Operations Specialist to join its dynamic operations team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment, with an attractive total remuneration package of up to S$80,000 per annum. Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Trade Finance Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for: • Processing commodity Import Letter of Credit (LC) issuances and amendments, and managing related import LC bills for acceptance and payment • Handling Commodity Guarantee issuances and amendments, including processing related claim payments • Managing corporate funded and unfunded risk participations and bank refinancing transactions • Performing KYC validation and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks on corporate and commodity trade finance transactions • Inputting trade finance transactions into Flexcube • Preparing and transmitting payment and other SWIFT messages via Calypso / SWIFT Alliance • Communicating with customers via email and fax, sorting and verifying documents, and matching SWIFT messages • Responding to customer queries related to trade finance activities • Performing additional duties as assigned by the Team Lead or Manager Required Skills and Qualifications• Minimum 3 years of experience in Trade Finance Operations, preferably with exposure to commodity trade finance and LC processing • Working knowledge of trade finance products, particularly import LCs and guarantees • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in transaction processing • Good communication and problem-solving skills • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage customer inquiries professionally If you are interested in the role, please apply with yourupdated resume to adora.lee@revup-consulting.com (R1879177) for a confidentialdiscussion.
