Construction Supervisor

Job Description • Site supervision of construction works to meet deadlines • Develop and implement safety policies, procedures and regulations • Responsible for on-site planning, handovers and personnel arrangements and labor deployment • Resolve various problems and handling emergencies on the site • Liaise and coordinate with both the clients, foreign workers and office to ensure smooth operations • Responsible for supervision of foreign workers and their wellbeing, health and safety and others • Analyse and evaluate clients issues and feedback to improve client satisfaction • To assist the Manager in supervising and coordinating the daily operational provision of the facilities at the areas of the dormitory • Acting as Site Warden, to conduct regular inspection of room check and facilities to ensure compliance of the regulation • Monitor and ensure all internal and subcon workers are registered and attendances are properly captured • Monitor and ensure the workers’ permits and certificates are valid and updated accordingly • To handle feedback and complaints and update the Manager accordingly • To take corrective action and implement preventive measures when required • To assist in the preparation of monthly reports, annual capital and operating budgets and other relevant reports • To ensure that all equipment are in good working condition • Familiar with Singapore roads and traffic rules • Perform transportation duties if required Job Requirements • At least a diploma in civil engineering, electrical/mechanical engineering or equivalent • Have class 4 driving license • Have 5 years and above experience driving in Singapore • At least 2-3 years experience in marketing and supervisory roles • Able to work with computers, especially MS Excel and Word • Able to communicate in english and with foreign workers • Responsible and positive with ‘can-do’ attitude • Able to work efficiently and effective under high pressure • Must be contactable by means of hand phone at any time including weekend and public holidays • Willing to work long hours, night work, overtime and Sunday work if required
