Contractor : Operation Handler

Contract Period : 6months , 9months, or 12months ( renewable depending on performance, suitabilities, and needs. High performer could be considered for continuos contract ) - the position(s) open mainly due to forecast increase of work/project activities. - age is not a problem, as long physically able/fit. ( due to work nature). - at current, 50% of our team are senior citizens/retirees (>50years old), we do welcome younger candidates for a good ratio mix. Scope of Works ● This is not an office type of job : All workers are required to perform hands-on operations duties ● Works could be exhausting physically. Works are usually done outdoors ( non-aircon environment ) ● Packing and Crating of bulky/heavy items ● Perform manual packing & crating related duties, eg: wrapping, labeling, sealing, carting...etc ● Attentive to Details, and able to work independently ● Other general works & housekeeping duties ● Other ad-hoc duties as and when required ● Adhere to Works Safety SOP ● Works hand-in-hand with vendors to complete work tasks. Able to work well with all walks, especially senior citizens ( a large percentage of our current workforce consists of senior citizens & retirees ) Requirements: ● Teamwork is essential. ● Physically fit to carry heavy items ● This is not an office type of job: All workers are required to perform hands-on operations duties. Works are usually done outdoors ( non-aircon environment ) ● Workplace is at the client’s location within Singapore (mostly at Changi North Industrial area currently) ● Adhere to Works Safety SOP ● Candidates without experience are welcome to apply; Training and guidance will be provided ( “Buddy/Mentor” on-site to guide newcomers ). ● Candidates with Forklift Operator License is highly preferred. Remuneration/Working hours: ● Monthly Package range : $2100 to $2300 ( negotiable/adjustable after performance probation period ) ● The work schedule/timing would be 5~6days/week. However, due to the nature of the works, our schedule could be odd, but usually are : Monday to Saturday : 9am to 5pm+/- (estimated only) - work end-time are flexible : upon works completion & relief by Field Operation Head/SuperIntendent. ● Although not frequent, Extended work-hours may be required if workloads are heavy on certain day(s) to complete the works on-site. Time-off Compensations will be arranged for extended work-hours done. Communication Method : - As our works activities are mostly on field operations, we use WhatsApps as main communication channel currently. - Dear applicants : Do expect our response within 48hrs~72 hours via WhatsApps [excluding Sunday, which we would like to avoid unless neccesary ].
