About this role
Key Responsibilities• Manage end-to-end contract administration for major construction projects. • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers. • Lead claims management, including variations, extensions of time, and dispute resolution (ADR/arbitration/litigation). • Ensure compliance with FIDIC, NEC, and Singapore standard contract forms and regulations. • Collaborate with QS and cost teams on progress claims, cash flow, and cost control. • Monitor variations, delays, and financial impacts to safeguard project profitability. • Oversee bonds, guarantees, payment certifications, and retention processes. • Identify and mitigate contractual and commercial risks. • Lead and oversee Quantity Surveyors in tendering, quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and on-site commercial management. • Act as the key liaison between clients, consultants, contractors, and legal teams. Requirements• Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Law, Engineering, or related field. • Minimum 10+ years’ experience in contract management on large-scale construction projects (SGD 500M+). • Strong knowledge of FIDIC, NEC, and Singapore construction contracts. • Proven experience in claims and dispute resolution. • Professional certifications preferred (MRICS, CIArb, PMP, CIPS, etc.). • Fluent in English and Mandarin (written and spoken). • Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. • Track record in Singapore projects (e.g., MRT, airport, high-rise, infrastructure). • Established network with local contractors, consultants, and industry stakeholders.
