Contracts Manager Responsibilities: • Review tender contract requirements • Prepare tender bidding responses, cost spreadsheets and profitability analysis • Work closely with Project Managers to lead end-to-end tender processes, from strategy formulation to final submission • Drive tender strategy development to ensure submissions are commercially robust, competitive, and aligned with the company’s positioning and long-term vision • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance tender processes, standardisation, and win probability (hit rate) • Lead and guide the Project QS team on contractual claims to protect commercial interest and ensure healthy cash flow • Develop and maintain standard contracts aligned with corporate objectives • Review all contract terms to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company policies • Manage contract execution, modifications, and audits • Analyse contractual risks and lead negotiations including addendums and variations • Provide expertise on cost, contractual issues, procurement strategies, and dispute resolution • Build strong rapport with colleagues across departments. • Oversee training, development, and performance appraisal for the Contracts team. • Lead efforts to improve tender hit rates, productivity, and work processes. • Conduct briefings and ensure project scope clarity across team members. • Ensure proper documentation and file management of all project records. Exhibition / Thematic ProjectResponsibilities • Prepare cost estimates for exhibition fabrication, showcases, graphics, scenic works and interactive installations • Coordinate with design and production teams to evaluate fabrication methods and materials • Source quotations from specialist vendors including AV, lighting, graphics and multimedia suppliers • Monitor fabrication and installation costs for temporary or permanent exhibitions Requirements: • Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building or Civil Engineering • 7–9 years of relevant experience in contract management, preferably in interior fit‑out or exhibitions. • Good interpersonal & leadership qualities • Experience in events/exhibitions/museum/gallery/thematic works projects will be of massive advantage • Good communication & writing skills • Independent, positive attitude, strong sense of responsibility Skills: • Proficient in all Microsoft Office application • Proficient in PlanSwift, Adobe Acrobat • Proficient in BIM (Bonus) • Strong interpersonal, communication and copywriting • Conflict-management and problem-solving abilities • Interest in the interior / exhibition industry (Bonus)
