CREATIVE (WEBCOMIC)

We are looking for a creative to join our micro-content team. The micro-content team is the custodian of UNFOLD’s social media platforms, particularly Instagram and Tiktok, for channels like Our Grandfather Story, Ribbit.FYI, and Sincerely, Singles. Reaching millions of audiences monthly through authentic, empathetic coverage of people stories, we aim towards being South East Asia’s leading digital edutainment publisher.  The ideal candidate is a specialist at online webcomic content, demonstrating a versatile and innovative mindset towards creation through their portfolio. They have drive, ownership, and an incredible desire to learn and grow. Most importantly, they should resonate with OGS’s approach to storytelling - always holding space, curiosity and compassion towards life and the world around them, and likewise - coming in with a personal expression they wish to share with the world, or a “reason to create”. Responsibilities: • Conceptualise, script, illustrate, and publish webcomics across editorial and branded formats. • Discover and pitch compelling stories through thorough research and fact-finding, working with emotional sensitivity and careful editorial judgement. • Ideate and execute new and innovative micro-content ideas, ensuring they resonate with the target audience and align with brand objectives. • Collaborate with assigned creatives in shaping and co-owning the webcomics content strategy and editorial calendar. • Track and analyse the performance of content to gather insights and refine future content strategies. • Dissect inbound client briefs and balance them with our editorial values to develop branded content that maintains audience trust and emotional authenticity. • Attend and represent Our Grandfather Story (OGS) in relevant media events and pitches, showcasing our creativity and brand identity. Requirements: • Proven experience in content creation, especially in micro-content production (Instagram, Tiktok) and other social platforms). • Demonstrable proficiency in illustration with a drawing tablet and Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop • Expertise in motion graphics or other mediums of digital media/art will be well-considered for this position • Strong creativity and ability to conceptualize unique and engaging content ideas. • Analytical mindset with the ability to track and analyze content performance. • Excellent communication and presentation skills. • Knowledge of and engagement with social media platforms and trends • Team player with a positive attitude and good work ethic Benefits and Perks: • Medical Benefits • Birthday leave • Flexi working hours • Hybrid work arrangement What we offer: • Vibrant and friendly work environment • Growth opportunities
