About the Role As the Deputy Manager - Operations, you will take charge of the end-to-end operations of our Visa Application Centre (VAC). You will be instrumental in ensuring seamless processes, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and outstanding customer experience -- all while leading and inspiring a high-performance team. You will also champion innovation by implementing new processes and continuous improvements to elevate service delivery standards. What You'll Be Doing Operational Leadership & Administration • Oversee daily VAC operations including document verification, cash handling, data accuracy, and passport delivery. • Ensure strict adherence to SLAs, SOPs, and organizational policies. • Monitor internal errors, drive corrective actions, and uphold high standards of accuracy and compliance. Quality Assurance & Process Excellence • Conduct audits and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness. • Perform stringent quality checks to ensure application integrity. • Lead initiatives that boost productivity while elevating the customer experience. Customer Experience & Service Delivery • Manage escalations professionally, ensuring timely and effective resolution. • Lead and motivate teams to deliver exceptional service standards. • Drive Value-Added Services (VAS) performance while maintaining security (physical & data). Sustainability & Governance • Promote environmentally responsible practices and resource efficiency. • Ensure adherence to Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) standards. • Uphold Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS) with strong ethical practices and integrity. What We're Looking For • At least Diploma/Bachelors' Degree (or global equivalent) • 2 to 5 years of experience, ideally in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality or Service Industry Language Advantage In our global and diverse customer environment, the ability to communicate with applicants from different background is beneficial. Proficiency in additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Arabic, Japanese, French etc.) would be an advantage to support service delivery to a diverse customer base.
