DevOps Developer (Terraform | API)

About the Role:We are seeking a DevOps Developer to build and enhance a secure, scalable cloud platform by developing automation, toolchains, and best practices that enable teams to efficiently deliver reliable digital services in an agile environment. Working Hours: Mon-Fri, Office hours Salary package: $5500 to $9500 (basic) + AWS Benefits: Annual Leave, Birthday Leave, Medical Benefits Job Type: Contract Key Responsibilities:• Design, develop and maintain a scalable cloud platform used by multiple organisations • Build APIs and backend automation using Python, and support secure CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitLab, Atlassian, Terraform) • Implement cloud automation and infrastructure across multiple cloud providers • Support system reliability, scalability, and operational stability • Provide guidance on DevOps practices and contribute to engineering best practices Requirement:• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field • Min 3 years experience in Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform), Git, and scripting (e.g. Bash) • Familiar with public clouds (AWS, Azure or GCP), automation, CI/CD pipelines, system design and application hosting • Strong knowledge of backend/API development with Python • Hands-on experience with Agile development and deployment practices • Exposure to distributed systems, security practices, and monitoring tools is a plus By submitting your resume, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information per ScienTec’s Privacy Policy (scientecconsulting.com/privacy-policy).
