Electrical Engineer (Facilities/ Maintenance/ Operations) 3 Years Contract Salary Up to $4,500 depending on experience Location : Woodlands Industry : Semiconductor Job Summary: • To support commercial and industrial facilities. • Ensure reliable electrical operations, lead maintenance activities, support projects, and uphold safety and regulatory compliance for building M&E systems. • This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. • Responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems. Responsibilities: • Operate and maintain MV/LV electrical systems, switchgear, transformers, MSBs/SMDBs, generators, UPS, and MCCs. • Perform troubleshooting, testing, inspections, and preventive/corrective maintenance via CMMS. • Maintain electrical components of building systems: lighting, HVAC equipment, pumps, motors, fire protection systems, lifts/escalators, etc. • Support electrical needs for industrial machinery, plant equipment, and process loads. • Execute Permit to Work, LOTO, safety procedures, and ensure compliance with EMA, SCDF, WSH regulations. • Respond to electrical faults and support emergency recovery. • Assist with retrofit works, system upgrades, shutdowns, testing & commissioning. • Maintain documentation: SLDs, reports, test records, asset data. • Coordinate with contractors, tenants, and building operations teams. Requirements: • Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. • Experience in aviation, commercial buildings, industrial buildings, or mission critical environments • Adept in MV/LV systems, troubleshooting, and building M&E equipment. • Familiar with CMMS, BMS/SCADA, and electrical safety procedures. • Good communication, teamwork, and problem solving skills.
