Panasonic Industrial Devices Singapore is a leading provider of innovative electronic components and solutions. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Engineering Assistant to join our Manufacturing Department. As an Engineering Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and quality of our products by meticulously managing part numbers, specifications, and change notifications. This is a vital position ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements. Job Responsibilities• Part Number Management: Create and manage new customer part numbers to prevent duplication and ensure consistency. • Traceability Management: Register and manage 3-way lot tracking to ensure product traceability in compliance with regulations, customer requirements, and internal quality standards. • Change Notification (CPCN) Management: Oversee Customer Part Change Notifications to ensure timely first lot notification to customers and prevent component mixing. • Specification Management: Update component specifications in collaboration with the Japan headquarters to ensure they are accurate and current. • Documentation & Compliance: Regularly review and update label specifications and PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) documents. Key Requirements• Proficient in computer literacy, such as using internet search tools and digital resources to find information and explore new tools that enhance job efficiency and work processes. • Fluent in English for business communication. Skills and Competencies• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for effective collaboration. • Proactive personality with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving. • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. • Knowledge of Microsoft Loop, Planner, Lists, Power BI, or Excel will be an added advantage. • Proficiency in Malay, Bahasa Indonesia, or Japanese would be an added advantage for collaboration with regional teams. Required Qualifications• Diploma in Electronics Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
