Job Overview We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead engineering activities within marine and shipbuilding projects. This rolewill oversee design, technical execution, and engineering coordination acrossnewbuild and conversion projects, ensuring alignment with technicalspecifications, regulatory requirements, and project timelines. The successful candidate will work closely with clients, classification societies, vendors, and internal teams to drive engineering excellence and support project delivery from concept through execution. Key Responsibilities Engineering Leadership & Project Execution • Lead engineering planning and execution for shipbuilding and marine projects • Oversee design development, technical reviews, and engineering deliverables • Ensure alignment with project timelines, specifications, and contractual requirements Technical Management • Interpret technical specifications, classification rules, and regulatory standards • Review engineering designs, drawings, and system integration requirements • Ensure compliance with industry standards and project quality expectations Project & Stakeholder Coordination • Liaise with clients, classification bodies, designers, and vendors on technical matters • Facilitate technical discussions, design reviews, and project coordination meetings • Support project teams in resolving engineering and design challenges Tender & Commercial Support • Provide engineering input during tender and proposal stages • Develop preliminary design concepts and technical solutions for new opportunities • Support cost estimation and technical feasibility assessments System Integration & Design Oversight • Coordinate across multiple engineering disciplines including mechanical, electrical, and piping systems • Ensure proper integration of major systems such as propulsion, power, and auxiliary systems • Oversee preparation of engineering documentation, drawings, and schedules Requirements Education & Experience • Degree or Diploma in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or related field • At least 5 years of relevant experience in shipbuilding, marine engineering, or offshore projects Technical Skills • Strong understanding of shipbuilding processes and engineering workflows • Ability to interpret technical specifications, drawings, and classification requirements • Familiarity with engineering design tools such as AutoCAD • Knowledge of marine systems, equipment, and installation practices Additional Capabilities • Experience in managing engineering teams or leading project workstreams • Ability to engage with clients and stakeholders on technical discussions • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, project-driven environment Key Attributes • Strong leadership and coordination capability • Analytical mindset with structured problem-solving approach • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills • Able to work independently and drive deliverables Please send your detailed resume in MS Word format to resume@goldtecHRs.com with • Education Level • Working experiences • Each employment background • Reason for leaving each employment • Last drawn salary • Expected salary • Date of availability
