About this role
Working hours: 8.30am-6pm Our office: Chinatown Key Responsibilities 1. Pre-Event Outreach & Marketing Engagement Calling: Conduct outbound calls to partner companies to confirm their attendance and assist with their registration needs. Candidate Sourcing: Reach out to potential job seekers via phone and email to invite or confirm them to the event, ensuring a high turnout rate. Outreach Marketing: Support digital marketing efforts by promoting the event across social media platforms, job boards, and community groups. Attendance Tracking: Maintain and update databases to monitor registration numbers for both employers and candidates. 2. Event Logistics & Setup Physical Setup: Assist in the physical arrangement of the venue, including setting up tables, chairs, banners, and acrylic displays. Technical Support: Help set up laptops and digital kiosks for registration and employer use. Employer Support: Act as the primary point of contact for employers, assisting them in setting up their booths and organizing their display materials. 3. On-Site Operations & Crowd Management Registration & Reception: Manage the registration desk, verify attendee details, and distribute event materials. Crowd Control: Monitor the flow of the event, managing queues and ensuring a smooth experience for all participants. Proactive Recruitment: Approach passersby confidently to introduce the event and invite them to explore job opportunities. Ushering: Guide job seekers through the venue, ensuring they find specific booths or seminar rooms easily. 4. Candidate Experience & Advisory Career Guidance: Support job seekers who may feel overwhelmed by guiding them toward booths and roles that match their skill sets. Ambassadorship: Act as the "face of the event," providing helpful information and maintaining a positive, professional atmosphere. 5. Post-Event & Digital Maintenance Content Management: Capture key moments during the event and update the company website’s photo gallery post-event. Reporting: Assist in gathering feedback from employers and job seekers to improve future events. Requirements: • Friendly, confident, and comfortable talking to strangers. • Proactive and able to work with minimal supervision. • Basic computer literacy (for jobseeker registration). • Able to stand for extended periods. • Prior event or customer service experience is a bonus, but not required.
