Event Marketing Associate (Student Role | Finance & Consumer Events) Location: Islandwide (Event-based) Schedule: Minimum 3 days/week (Flexible up to 6 days) Working Hours: Typically 11:00AM – 8:00PM (varies based on event schedule) Salary: $12/hour + Commission (up to $15 per successful acquisition) About the Role Join a fast-growing events and marketing team specialising in consumer acquisition campaigns, particularly within the finance space. You will be part of on-ground activations for well-known brands such as trading and investment platforms, helping to drive user sign-ups and engagement through live events. This role is ideal for students who want real-world exposure in marketing, sales, and finance, while earning through both hourly pay and performance-based commission. Key Responsibilities • Engage with event attendees and introduce brand offerings (e.g. investment platforms, financial products) • Drive user acquisition by guiding customers through sign-up processes • Explain key product features in a clear, engaging, and confident manner • Represent the brand professionally during events and activations • Assist with event setup, coordination, and daily operations • Work closely with team members to achieve daily acquisition targets Compensation Structure Base: $12/hour Commission: Approximately $15 per successful acquisition (e.g. account opening + required deposit; varies by campaign) Who We’re Looking For We are looking for motivated individuals who are: • Students with interest in finance, investing, or personal finance • Confident communicators who enjoy interacting with people • Driven by performance and comfortable with target-based roles • Able to commit at least 3 days per week • Energetic, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced event environment Bonus if you have: • Background or studies in finance, business, or related fields • Sales, customer service, or event experience • Strong interest in financial platforms (e.g. trading apps, investing tools) Growth & Opportunities • Exposure to real client campaigns and live marketing activations • Hands-on experience in sales, branding, and consumer psychology • Opportunity to convert to full-time based on performance and interest • Work across multiple concurrent events and industries Additional Info • Events typically run in 7-day cycles, with multiple ongoing activations • Interview will be conducted onsite at an event location • Work is primarily on-ground (not office-based)
