Executive Chef

Job Responsibilities• Plan, organize, and manage the daily operations of the kitchen to ensure food quality, consistency, and service standards are met. • Lead and supervise kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth operations and effective teamwork. • Develop and review menus, recipes, and food presentation standards in line with operational and customer requirements. • Monitor food preparation processes to ensure compliance with company standards, food safety regulations, and hygiene requirements. • Manage kitchen budgeting, food costing, inventory control, and operational expenses to support cost efficiency. • Establish and implement procedures for purchasing, receiving, and storage of food supplies and kitchen equipment. • Ensure quality control of raw ingredients and finished food products. • Prepare and cook food for daily operations, special events, and customer functions when required. • Train, guide, and support team members through coaching and performance feedback to maintain service excellence. • Work closely with management and relevant departments to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Job Requirements• Diploma, certification, or relevant qualification in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, Food & Beverage, or related fields is an advantage. • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in kitchen operations or culinary management, preferably in hotels, restaurants, catering, or large-scale food production environments. • Experience in supervising kitchen operations, menu planning, and food cost management. • Familiarity with food safety and hygiene standards, including HACCP practices. • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, and contemporary food presentation trends. • Good leadership, communication, interpersonal, and team management skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple operational priorities. • Creative and proactive mindset with strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
