About this role
The Executive, Engagement & Marketing will support the activation and promotion of programmes and initiatives at Woodlands Recreation Centre (WRC). The role focuses on strengthening WRC’s outreach, visitor engagement and partnerships through social media marketing, content creation, event support and stakeholder engagement initiatives. The Executive will play a key role in curating weekly activities, building community partnerships and supporting efforts to increase awareness, participation and overall footfall at WRC. Key Responsibilities 1) Marketing & Social Media Management • Manage and maintain WRC’s social media platforms and digital outreach channels. • Develop engaging content including posters, videos, reels, photography and promotional materials to market WRC activities and initiatives. • Plan and execute social media campaigns to improve visitor engagement and increase awareness of WRC programmes. • Monitor social media trends, engagement performance and visitor responses to improve outreach strategies. • Support the preparation of eDMs, publicity materials and promotional collaterals for events and campaigns. 2) Events & Visitor Engagement • Assist in planning, coordinating and supporting weekly programmes and activities to drive footfall and visitor participation at WRC. • Curate engaging recreational, cultural, sports and community-based activities targeted at migrant workers. • Support on-ground event operations including setup, registration, crowd engagement and event coordination. • Work closely with the Operations and Programming team to ensure smooth execution of activities and activations. • Gather visitor feedback and ground observations to improve future programmes and visitor experience. 3) Partnership & Stakeholder Engagement • Reach out to and establish working relationships with NGOs, community groups, sponsors, volunteers, corporate partners and service providers. • Identify collaboration opportunities that can bring value-added programmes and resources to WRC. • Coordinate with external partners on event participation, sponsorship support and engagement initiatives. • Support volunteer recruitment and coordination efforts for WRC activities and programmes. 4) Content Creation & Branding • Support photography and videography coverage during WRC activities and events. • Assist in maintaining a consistent branding and communication style across WRC materials and platforms. • Develop content highlighting WRC programmes, success stories and community engagement efforts. • Assist in building WRC’s public image and online presence through creative and engaging digital content. 5) Administrative & Reporting Support • Maintain event schedules, engagement records and partnership databases. • Assist in preparing reports, event summaries and monthly engagement statistics. • Support procurement coordination and administrative documentation related to marketing and events. • Perform other duties assigned to support the operational and engagement needs of WRC. Requirements Qualifications & Experience • Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Events Management, Community Development or related disciplines. • 1–2 years of relevant experience in marketing, social media management, event coordination or community engagement will be advantageous. • Fresh graduates with strong interest in community engagement and digital marketing are welcome to apply. Skills & Competencies • Strong interest in social media marketing, content creation and community engagement. • Creative, resourceful and able to generate new ideas for programmes and promotional campaigns. • Good communication and interpersonal skills with ability to engage external stakeholders and partners. • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite or similar design/content tools will be advantageous. • Comfortable working flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays, when required for events and activities. • Able to work independently and in a fast-paced operational environment.
