=DREAMS (Singapore) Limited is a first-of-its-kind secular, co-educational weekday residential programme providing after-school academic and holistic support to promising children from low-income households. Key Responsibilities: 1. Scholar Well-being and Safety • Lead and implement initiatives that strengthen scholars’ mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing, cultivating resilience, confidence, and self-awareness • Conduct regular safety and risk assessments to ensure a secure and nurturing residential environment. • Provide counselling support to scholars in residence, helping them navigate challenges related to residential living and socio-emotional development 2. Holistic Development for Goal Attainment • Support each scholar’s growth journey through personalised care plans, structured goal-setting, and wellness practices that build motivation, self-efficacy, and a growth mindset • Maintain accurate documentation of scholars’ wellbeing and developmental progress to ensure a balanced, supportive, and inspiring living environment • Design and facilitate workshops on mindfulness, self-reflection, and self-care to foster long-term resilience and confidence 3. Family and Community Engagement • Partner closely with families, schools, and community stakeholders to build a strong ecosystem of support around each scholar • Organise engagement initiatives and community-building events that celebrate progress, reinforce shared aspirations, and strengthen scholars’ sense of belonging 4. Attributes Building and Capability Development • Partner effectively with the Scholar Development Team to design resources and training that equip staff to respond confidently to crises and provide appropriate support • Lead upstream preventive initiatives that strengthen scholars’ internal compass by anchoring them in the 6 ATTRIBUTES of =DREAMS, cultivating values-driven behaviour and positive decision-making Requirements: 1. Education and Experience • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Social Work, Psychology, Education, Counselling, or related fields) • Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in youth engagement, coaching, mentoring, residential care, or holistic student support 2. Youth Engagement Expertise • Strong understanding of youth development principles and cultural sensitivity • Experience working with children, youths, and families from low-income backgrounds is highly preferred 3. Interpersonal and Communication Skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Demonstrated ability to build authentic, trusting relationships with scholars from diverse backgrounds, as well as with families, community partners, and professionals 4. Team Collaboration • A collaborative team player who can work effectively both independently and within a cross-functional, team-oriented environment 5. Personal Attributes • Patient, reflective, and deeply committed to youth development • Believes in fostering self-sufficiency and resilience • Brings warmth, positivity, and a healthy sense of humour to community living 6. Work Schedule Flexibility • Able to work Monday to Thursday evenings between 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., including Sunday evenings 7.
