About this role
Job Responsibilities Food Preparation • Set up and organize workstations, ingredients, and kitchen equipment before cooking (mise en place). • Prepare and cook food according to the menu and company standards. Kitchen Operations Support • Assist in daily kitchen tasks including ingredient preparation and basic cooking duties such as rice cooking and food assembly. • Ensure all dishes are prepared and served on time. • Follow the staff roster and instructions from supervisors to support smooth operations. • Work closely with service staff to accommodate special requests and food allergies. • Monitor ingredient and supply levels; assist in restocking and placing orders when necessary. • Support operational continuity by following company procedures during disruptions. Hygiene, Safety & Standards • Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and food safety at all times. • Comply with the company’s Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) guidelines. • Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of the kitchen and work areas.
