Finance Analyst, Product Controller (12 month contract) / UID:2269

Key Responsibilities • Produce daily P&L reports and perform P&L decomposition • Provide commentary on key P&L drivers and link them to desk strategies • Monitor new deals, late trades, and market operations activity • Review off-market trades and validate/justify rationale for execution • Perform exception checks between reported P&L vs trader estimates and investigate breaches • GLAO certification of balance sheet accounts • Compute room-wide and desk-level reserves • Prepare key risk and performance indicator reporting for the desk • Improve and streamline team workflows and operational efficiency • Review control processes and identify potential gaps • Support ad-hoc queries from Front Office, Risk, Middle Office, and Finance Requirements • Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or Business preferred • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, ideally in banking • Understanding of treasury products, derivatives, and options preferred • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel • Strong control mindset with attention to detail • Analytical and inquisitive approach • Good team player with ability to connect product control activities to desk strategy We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
