Job Description: We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern. This internship will provide hands-on experience in financial analysis, budgeting, reporting, and other key areas of finance, giving you the opportunity to enhance your skills and build your career in the financial sector. Key Responsibilities: • Assist in preparing financial reports, statements, and budgets. • Conduct financial analysis, including variance analysis and financial modeling. • Help with the preparation and reconciliation of accounts. • Support the month-end and year-end close processes. • Assist in data entry and maintain accurate financial records. • Assist in preparing presentations for internal stakeholders. • Research and analyze financial data to support decision-making processes. • Support the team with ad-hoc financial projects and tasks. • Monitor and track expenses and assist in forecasting future costs. • Help with audit preparation and compliance documentation. Requirements / Qualifications: • Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements. • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is a plus. • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (knowledge of financial modeling is a plus). • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. • A proactive, detail-oriented approach with a passion for learning. • Past related experience in finance or accounting such as out-of-school experiences like prior internships will make your application stand out. • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and collaboratively. • Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Internship duration should be around 6 to 12 months full time. • Resume should indicate your forecasted internship dates.
