About this role
1. Financial Operations & Accounting • Full-set accounting: Managing day-to-day transactions, general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and month-end/year-end closures. • Reconciliation: Conducting bank, credit card, and intercompany reconciliations. • Compliance & Tax: Preparing corporate tax returns, handling quarterly GST submissions, and assisting with internal/external audits. 2. Planning, Reporting & Analysis • Budgeting & Forecasting: Assisting leadership with creating financial forecasts and tracking performance against established budgets. • Management Reporting: Generating monthly and quarterly financial reports for senior management and stakeholders. • Data Analysis: Analyzing data sets to uncover trends, identify cost-saving opportunities, and assess financial risks. 3. Key Qualifications & Skills • Education: A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related business field. • Technical Skills: High proficiency in spreadsheet tools (e.g., advanced Excel macros, pivot tables) and familiarity with enterprise accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Xero). • Core Competencies: Strong analytical thinking, exceptional attention to detail, and cross-functional communication.
