Financial Reporting - 2 years Contract/ West

Employment Type: 2-Years Contract Key Responsibilities • Manage month-end closing activities, including property tax, depreciation, and investment-related entries, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and accuracy of financial records. • Oversee fixed asset management, including asset tracking, stocktake exercises, disposal schedules, and capital expenditure reporting. • Prepare and submit statutory and management reports, including GST returns, variance analysis, and Department of Statistics submissions. • Support the review and implementation of accounting policies, system enhancements, and Financial Reporting Standards (FRS) applications. • Perform financial analysis and prepare management reports and presentations. • Liaise with external auditors and support annual financial audit activities. Requirements • Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline. • Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting or finance experience (manager/assistant manager level). • Good communication skills, both written and verbal. • Positive attitude, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
