Job Summary As a Part-Time Primary English Tutor, you will teach engaging small-group English lessons for Primary 3 to Primary 6 students, covering the full curriculum and preparing them for the PSLE. You will provide constructive feedback and keep parents informed of progress. Responsibilities • Deliver small-group English lessons for Primary 3 to Primary 6 students, covering composition, creative and situational writing, comprehension, grammar and others. • Prepare and adapt lessons using and creating additional curriculum and resources to meet each group’s learning needs and exam requirements • Assess students’ written work and assignments promptly, providing clear and encouraging feedback to support improvement • Support exam readiness by assisting with mock exams and holiday intensive sessions as needed • Foster a positive, encouraging, and focused classroom environment that motivates students to learn Preferred competencies and qualifications • Prior experience as an MOE school teacher is highly valued • Experience teaching primary English aligned to the MOE English Language and PSLE syllabus • Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport and communicate effectively with parents • Genuine patience and dedication to helping every student succeed Required competencies and certifications • Strong command of written and spoken English • Relevant degree or diploma in Education or English preferred • Ability to engage and motivate primary-school-aged children • Availability on weekday evenings and/or weekends during school terms and holiday programmes Why Join Us • Small class sizes enabling focused teaching and individual attention • Structured curriculum and ready-made teaching resources for efficient lesson preparation • Flexible scheduling to accommodate your commitments • Supportive team culture that values student growth • Competitive hourly rates with rewarding student progress outcomes Compensation Competitive, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
