OUR IMPACT Operations is a dynamic, multi-faceted division that partners across the firm to deliver banking, sales& trading, and asset management capabilities to clients globally. In addition to enabling business flow, Operations plays a critical role in risk management and control—protecting the firm’s assets and reputation. Asset Servicing is a Global Markets Operations function responsible for managing voluntary income and corporate actions across equity and fixed income products. Core activities span event creation, reconciliation, instruction management, entitlement processing, and client service delivery. The function operates in a complex, high-risk environment requiring strong control discipline, market expertise, and operational excellence. YOUR IMPACT As a Executive Director within Asset Servicing, you will oversee a regional team while partnering closely with global stakeholders to deliver a scalable, well-controlled, and client-focused operating model. You will play a key role in driving performance across the corporate actions lifecycle—balancing day-to-day execution with strategic initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce risk, and enhance client outcomes. This role offers broad exposure to global markets, complex event types, and senior stakeholders across Operations, Trading, Engineering, and Client Coverage. WHAT YOU WILL DELIVER • Drive improvements in operational scalability through reduction of manual processing and increased automation • Enhance the control environment, reducing exceptions and strengthening risk management across the event lifecycle • Improve client outcomes, including timeliness and accuracy of entitlement processing and payments • Partner globally to standardise processes and optimise resource utilisation across regions • Contribute to strategic transformation initiatives, including data-driven controls, workflow optimisation, and adoption of new technologies KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Leadership & Oversight • Lead and develop a regional team, fostering a high-performance, accountable, and collaborative culture • Provide oversight of daily operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of corporate actions events • Manage capacity against volume trends, proactively addressing risks related to resourcing and delivery Stakeholder Management & Communication • Build strong relationships across global stakeholders (Operations, Engineering, Front Office, and Risk) • Clearly articulate issues, risks, and recommendations to senior stakeholders (up to MD level) • Influence decision-making through data-driven insights and well-reasoned perspectives Functional & Technical Expertise • Act as a subject matter expert across the corporate actions lifecycle, including event setup, elections, and entitlements • Resolve complex issues and drive root cause analysis to prevent recurrence • Support new business initiatives, regulatory changes, and process design enhancements Innovation & Transformation • Drive adoption of automation, data, and emerging technologies (including AI-enabled workflows) to improve efficiency and scalability • Identify and implement process and tooling enhancements to reduce manual touchpoints and increase STP • Leverage insights from across teams to promote best practices and continuous improvement Client Focus • Deliver consistent, high-quality service through effective partnership with internal and external stakeholders • Proactively assess client needs and anticipate impacts from market or product changes • Manage complex and time-sensitive client scenarios with professionalism and accountability Risk Management & Control • Strengthen the control environment across all asset servicing processes • Challenge existing frameworks and drive enhancements to mitigate operational risk • Partner with risk and control functions to support reviews, remediation, and governance requirements CAREER DEVELOPMENT This role provides significant opportunity to deepen product and market expertise while building leadership capability.
