Lead and deliver sustainable innovation initiatives that support strategic business objectives, advance sustainable development goals, and cultivate a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the organization. ProjectsThe innovation initiatives may span new business models, technological advancements, and continuous improvement programs, involving collaboration with internal stakeholders and external ecosystems including suppliers, customers, startups, research institutions, and academic partners. Current project areas include, but are not limited to: • Circular economy solutions and closed-loop systems • Energy efficiency initiatives • Circular business models • Sustainable operational optimization programs Key ResponsibilitiesInnovation Strategy & Opportunity Development• Identify, evaluate, and prioritize strategic challenges, unmet business needs, and innovation opportunities across the organization • Develop and propose scalable and sustainable solutions, including new technologies, partnerships, operating models, and business concepts aligned with the organization’s sustainability and innovation goals • Build and maintain a pipeline of innovation initiatives to ensure continuous idea generation and value creation • Define project vision, objectives, milestones, success metrics, and implementation roadmaps for selected innovation initiatives • Drive innovation projects through validation, pilot deployment, launch, and transition phases • Engage and align internal stakeholders, suppliers, startups, external partners, and research institutions throughout the innovation lifecycle Project Management & Leadership• Manage project timelines, budgets, resources, risks, and overall governance • Coordinate cross-functional teams and external collaborators to ensure effective execution • Track and report project progress, insights, key outcomes, and risks to leadership teams • Ensure effective communication and stakeholder engagement throughout project execution Project ExecutionCustomer & Market Validation • Conduct market research, customer assessments, and trend analysis • Identify and engage strategic partners and collaborators • Support the establishment of collaborative partnerships and agreements Technical Feasibility & Development • Assess regulatory and compliance requirements • Conduct data collection, analysis, and preliminary technical evaluations • Coordinate laboratory testing and proof-of-concept activities • Support industrial trials and Minimum Viable Product (MVP) development activities Commercial & Business Validation • Conduct financial and commercial analysis • Develop business cases and commercialization plans • Evaluate market accessibility and long-term scalability opportunities Stakeholder & Innovation Governance• Align and engage stakeholders across all phases of the innovation journey • Ensure timely achievement of milestones, deliverables, and project objectives • Define subsequent innovation phases including scope, budget, timelines, and deliverables where required • Prepare transition documentation and support handover to operational/business teams • Identify executive sponsors and business owners to ensure continuity beyond the innovation phase Deliverables• Updated project dashboards including planning, budget tracking, risk management, and progress monitoring • Project-specific reports, analyses, and technical documentation • Regular presentations and updates to management, stakeholders, and external partners About You• Minimum 8 years of experience in innovation project management • Background or formal training in sustainability; prior exposure to circular economy initiatives is advantageous • Academic background in Engineering or related technical discipline • Hands-on experience with innovation methodologies, frameworks, and project management practices • Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities across diverse teams and functions • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills • Entrepreneurial or intrapreneurial experience will be highly valued Don't miss out on this chance to be a part of a dynamic and growing team.
