Ltd. is a guitar academy and repair space founded in 2022, focused on delivering high-quality guitar education and instrument maintenance in a supportive environment for students of all ages. Job Summary Join Guitar Movement as a part-time Guitar Instructor to deliver engaging one-to-one and group lessons across various music styles, guide student progress, and support school operations in a dynamic, music-focused environment. Responsibilities • Deliver one-to-one and group guitar/bass lessons tailored to diverse age groups and skill levels • Teach contemporary music styles including pop, funk, blues, rock, metal, jazz, and fingerstyle to enhance student versatility • Instruct students in music theory and practical musicianship skills such as aural training, sight-reading, and performance techniques to build comprehensive musicianship • Prepare students for graded music examinations by designing targeted lesson plans and practice strategies • Motivate and guide students to achieve their musical goals and sustain engagement throughout their learning journey • Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive, actionable feedback to support continuous improvement • Manage front-desk and reception duties including course consultations and guitar servicing enquiries with professionalism (training provided) • Support administrative functions such as lesson planning and curriculum development customized to individual student needs • Respond promptly and professionally to student and customer enquiries to maintain high service standards • Contribute to maintaining smooth daily operations of the school to ensure an optimal learning environment Required competencies and certifications • Minimum Grade 8 certification in Guitar, Diploma, or Bachelor’s Degree in Music Preferred competencies and qualifications • At least 1 year of teaching or related experience • Experience working with children • Passion for music education • Strong organisational and planning skills demonstrated through lesson and curriculum management • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage students and collaborate with colleagues Other Information • Location: Bukit Merah Central (Central Singapore, On-site) • Working Hours: 3–4 days per week • Employment Type: Permanent Part-Time / Contract • Renumeration (Teaching): $24-35/hr • Renumeration (Administrative role): $10-12/hr Opportunity to transition into a full-time role
