Job Summary Provide comprehensive legal support across multiple Asian jurisdictions, managing contracts, corporate governance, compliance, and legal projects to drive regional legal efficiency and ensure adherence to local laws and internal policies. Responsibilities • Provide legal support to corporate functions across multiple Asian jurisdictions including Singapore, China, Japan, Korea, India, and Southeast Asia to ensure compliance and risk mitigation • Assist the Regional Head of Legal in managing projects that optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of local legal teams • Draft, review, and negotiate global and regional commercial agreements such as NDAs and contract templates to ensure alignment with internal policies and local legal requirements • Support corporate governance by preparing board and committee documentation, managing corporate filings and registers, and assisting with corporate restructuring projects to ensure regulatory compliance • Conduct legal research on local laws and regulations affecting business operations, including commercial law, data protection, competition law, and AI law, to inform compliance strategies • Support regional compliance initiatives, including policy development, risk assessments, and implementation of global compliance programs at regional and Singapore levels • Monitor litigation matters by tracking claims, legal expenses, and case reporting within the region to support dispute resolution efforts • Participate in regional and global legal projects focused on process improvements, template standardization, and legal technology initiatives to enhance legal operations • Develop and deliver legal training materials and presentations to local legal teams to build knowledge and capabilities • Contribute to legal knowledge management by maintaining databases and sharing best practices across the region Preferred competencies and qualifications • Degree in Law or higher • Bar qualification or postgraduate specialization is advantageous • 1–2 years of experience through internships or professional roles in international or commercial law firms, or in-house legal departments of international companies • Proficiency in French is a plus • Knowledge of Asian languages is a strong advantage depending on location Other Information Fluent English is required as the working language to facilitate communication across diverse jurisdictions and teams.
