Intern, Platform Engineer

About Us Green Link Digital Bank is Singapore's inaugural wholesale digital bank focusing on supply chain finance, mainly serving MSMEs and aiming to help MSMEs grow and improve digitization. We are looking for an intern to join our lean IT team and drive our platform engineering initiatives with a focus on self-service, workflow integration, control enforcement, product mindset, and business-aligned outcomes to grow our business. This role will report to the Head of Platform & DevSecOps. About the Role As a Platform Engineer intern, you will assist in building and maintaining reliable, secure, and scalable internal platforms through automation, with particular emphasis on Infrastructure as Code (IaC), DevSecOps integration, resiliency engineering, observability, and AI-driven operational enhancements in a regulated financial services context. Responsibilities • Support the development and maintenance of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) implementations using tools such as Ansible or similar to provision and manage cloud resources consistently and repeatably. • Provide assistance in embedding DevSecOps practices, including security scanning and compliance automation within CI/CD pipelines and IaC workflows. • Perform tasks related to observability and resiliency engineering, such as configuring monitoring dashboards, logging/alerting solutions (Grafana stack), fault-tolerance testing, and high-availability configurations. • Collaborate with development and operations teams on AI Ops initiatives and automation projects, explore and build AI native software development platform and agentic workflows. Requirements • Currently pursuing bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information System, Engineering, or a related discipline. • Basic understanding of Linux systems, public cloud platforms, computer network and security. • Prior relevant exposure (through coursework, academic projects, or previous internships) in platform engineering, DevOps, software engineering, cloud infrastructure, or Infrastructure automation is a plus. • Experience with agentic AI workflows (autonomous agents, multi-agent systems, tool-using LLMs, or reasoning loops) and/or vibe coding (intuitive, flow-oriented, rapid prototyping, or creative system-building approaches) is welcomed and will be viewed favourably. • Good verbal and written communication, conversant in both English and Mandarin but not a requirement. • Strong team player, quick learner, and problem solver.
