About this role
About this role • You’ll be responsible for designing and creating virtual simulation models to test various kinds of manufacturing process, technical assessment and pilot plant operation workflows in virtual environments. • The scope could be anything from liquid applications to spray drying applications to plant scaling up. • Analyse the existing prototype simulation tool, and help develop applications for demonstrating the algorithms and the simulation results. • This gives great opportunity for you to go through various phases of simulation software development process starting from analysing the existing system, designing building the new system, testing and implementation to use in process engineering. • Work together with Process Engineer and Scientist in R&D environment. • Design, analyse, and test software prototypes and algorithms. • Develop simulation tools and program to improve workflows by using Microsoft Power apps application • We expect that you show above-average motivation to develop demonstrators and software prototypes and proactiveness to come up with new concepts and ideas on how to overcome possible challenges. Requirements • Student from Food Science, Chemistry or Engineering, Data Analytics, Information Systems • You are currently enrolled in applied mathematics, physics, computer science, data science, engineering, or similar knowledge from software development for other projects. • You have a sound knowledge in Python and Microsoft Power apps and shell scripting and a good knowledge in data analytics libraries. • Curious, always keen to learn, open-minded and enthusiastic to work in a vibrant environment with experienced people.
