Internal Control Manager (Japanese speaking)

• Industry: Construction • Location: South • Position: Internal Control Manager (20236) Job Description: The mission of the position is to establish a sustainable culture of accountability and compliance for continuous review and improvement of internal control systems and policies, effective business and operational procedures, practices and progress reports while ensuring timely review, guidance and new implementation to all divisions/projects/departments (include IBU, overseas branches and subsidiary companies). • Regular review of internal control system, procedures and practices, and ensure compliance with internal control policies and Tokyo HQ directives • Review and update internal control policies, Standard Approval Authority (SAA) and work flows related to governance, risk management and compliance • Manage day to day performance and lead, conduct and document audit (working along with Tokyo HQ) according to the internal control standards (e.g. assessing risk, defining scope of audits, managing time budgets and resolving issues) • Ensure continuous education and learning of internal control systems, policies, procedures and work flows for all relevant stakeholders, monitor and review learning effectiveness • Preparation of periodic updates and relevant reports for Tokyo HQ • Facilitate career development of team member(s). Prepare and deliver assignment and periodic performance evaluations to assigned team member(s) within department standards Job Requirements: • A recognized bachelor’s degree / master’s degree is required principally in Accounting or Finance, although Business or other degrees may also be relevant with the right experience. • Minimum of 8-10 years of related experience in managing internal control activities combined with internal audit/control experience with a global company. • Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) is advantage • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other software as well • Business Level of Japanese speaking is required to liaise with Japan HQ and Japanese speaking stakeholders Interested applicants please apply directly for further shortlisting review.
