Job Title: IT Infrastructure Engineer (System Administration) Contract: 2+ Years (Extendable) Location: East, Singapore Role Overview We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer (System Administration) to join our infrastructure team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operations, support, maintenance, enhancement, and continuous improvement of critical enterprise systems, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance across both on-premises and cloud environments. Key Responsibilities • Manage enterprise IT infrastructure including installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of hardware, software, and related systems. • Administer, monitor, and support Linux and Windows servers across on-premises and Government on Commercial Cloud (GCC) environments. • Support middleware systems including WebSphere Application Server and WebSphere MQ to ensure stable and reliable operations. • Monitor systems proactively, troubleshoot issues, and resolve incidents to ensure high availability and security. • Research, evaluate, and implement new technologies to improve infrastructure performance and drive continuous improvement. • Work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to deliver system enhancements and support day-to-day operational requirements. Requirements • Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Communications, or a related technical discipline. • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in system administration or infrastructure support. • Professional certification in Red Hat Linux and/or Microsoft technologies, including cloud-related certifications, is preferred. • Experience in administering Red Hat Linux and Windows server environments. • Strong knowledge of Linux shell scripting, automation, and infrastructure troubleshooting. • Familiarity with AWS (Amazon Web Services) and Government on Commercial Cloud (GCC), with experience in tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and GitLab considered an advantage. • Experience with middleware and enterprise tools such as WebSphere Application Server and WebSphere MQ will be an added advantage. • Good communication skills with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
