IT Section Head, Infrastructure

Job Overview We are looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Manager to lead and drive infrastructure operations within a high-availability environment. This role will oversee daily operations, ensure system reliability, and align local infrastructure initiatives with global technology direction while supporting business objectives. Key Responsibilities Infrastructure Management & Delivery • Oversee deployment, maintenance, and lifecycle management of infrastructure systems • Ensure stability, performance, and uptime across all IT platforms • Drive continuous optimization of infrastructure services and processes Team Leadership • Lead and develop a team of infrastructure engineers and support staff • Establish structured workflows, operational standards, and training plans Stakeholder Collaboration • Engage business units to understand operational needs and prioritize initiatives • Work closely with regional and global teams to align infrastructure strategy Project & Service Coordination • Manage infrastructure-related projects including implementation, upgrades, and migrations • Oversee system design validation, testing, rollout, and documentation standards Governance & Budget Control • Support planning and monitoring of infrastructure budgets • Ensure cost-efficient operations while maintaining service quality and compliance Requirements • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent • Minimum 6 years of experience in IT infrastructure or operations • Strong understanding of core infrastructure domains including servers, networks, storage, and backup • Hands-on exposure to Linux (SuSE) and Windows environments • Familiarity with enterprise networking concepts (WAN/LAN) and troubleshooting • Experience in vendor coordination and project delivery • Prior exposure to manufacturing or 24/7 operational environments is advantageous • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
