OPUS IT SERVICES PTE LTD is hiring for a IT Support Engineer (Roving / End-User Support) internship — a 12-month, on-site Software Engineering role based in Singapore. It is an unpaid internship. About this role
Employment Type: 2-year contract (renewable) Clearance: MSD security clearance required Working Days/Hours: Mon-Fri, 8.30am-6pm Location: West side, Ang Mo Kio (roving) Scope of services • Perform Asset Management of Infrastructure and Computing Devices • Provide computer support services (Troubleshooting, patching, configuration, testing and maintenance) for any supported software and hardware. • Work with 3rd parties vendors • Provide Training, Coaching and Orienting users on how to use computer devices. • Be responsible for completing assigned tasks on time and to the satisfaction of the users. • Must be able to handle helpdesk duties. Requirements: • Candidate must possess at least a Higher Nitec in IT related qualification/Diploma in IT • Fresh candidate with related IT Cert can be considered but must be proficient in Microsoft Words/Excel/Outlook. • 1-2 years’ experience in similar capacity Technical Skills and experience supporting Computing Devices • Able to support helpdesk in client's HQ • Computing Devices Platform Supported : Windows, IOS and Android • Professional competencies that include: • Ability to work without supervision • Good communication skills • Pro-activeness and Initiative • Ability to multitask • Good at problem solving • Customer service
