About this role
Responsibilities • Provide first-level IT support by diagnosing and troubleshooting issues related to laptops, servers, internal systems, web applications, and mainframe platforms. • Respond to and manage user-reported technical issues, ensuring timely resolution or escalation when required. • Escalate complex incidents to Tier 2 IT support and follow up to ensure issues are resolved efficiently. • Maintain and prepare regular reports on IT support activities for the team and supervisor. • Conduct basic user training and provide guidance on IT systems and tools where necessary. • Support ad-hoc IT initiatives, system implementations, or improvement projects as assigned. Requirements • Diploma in Information Technology or a related field. • Minimally a year of relevant experience • Strong customer service orientation with good communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively with a proactive problem-solving approach. • Good time management and basic project coordination skills. • Broad IT knowledge including laptops, phone systems, web platforms, software applications, and mainframe environments.
