Company Overview / Employee Value Proposition The Association of Banks in Singapore (ABS) is a non-profit organisation that represents the interests of the commercial and investment banking community. As at 31 December 2024, our membership comprised 155 local and foreign banks/institutions and representative offices operating in Singapore. Our roles include: • 1. Representing the Commercial and Investment Banking Industry: We voice the interests of our members in Singapore through strategic engagement with our stakeholders – banks, regulators and customers. • 2. Upholding the Integrity of Members: We work with members to develop and implement industry code of conduct and guidelines that are in line with international best practices. • 3. Building Relationships within the Industry: We build consensus among members with differing opinions and coordinate as well as gather support for projects of mutual benefit. • 4. Collaborating with Regional and International Organisations: We partner with these organisations to strengthen members' interests. Job Summary Support the IT team by troubleshooting technical issues, setting up user accounts and devices, performing routine maintenance, and escalating complex problems to ensure smooth IT operations. Responsibilities • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for staff, including laptop malfunctions, Wi-Fi connectivity problems, printing errors, and software queries to maintain uninterrupted work processes • Set up user accounts, install necessary applications, and prepare devices to ensure staff have the required IT resources for their tasks • Perform routine IT maintenance such as applying software updates, conducting system checks, and organizing equipment to sustain optimal IT performance • Provide first-level IT support and escalate unresolved or complex issues promptly to the RSMSF IT team for timely resolution • Manage multiple IT support tasks efficiently under tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail • Communicate clearly in written and spoken English to assist staff effectively and document IT support activities accurately • Adapt to changing priorities and collaborate with team members to maintain a professional and productive work environment • Commit to a minimum internship duration of six months to ensure continuity and contribution to IT operations Preferred competencies and qualifications • Diploma in IT or related field preferred • Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook
